Christmas at Selfridges

Some very exciting news... with Christmas just around the corner!

Berry Place have been asked specifically by Selfridges to create two themed installations for the upcoming festive windows. This is a great opportunity to turn creative freedom into beautiful displays for one of the most famous retail brands in the world, using a mixture of processes and materials.

Further information on the windows is to be kept under wrap (pun intended) for now.

Helping Clients Win Deals

Deals, pitching, tendering, presenting and influencing. We help clients stand out with unbelievably high quality folders.

Bringing us in at the conceptual stage or working to a brief, we work with every material imaginable - woods, metals, rubber, plastic, carbon fibre, glass, semi-precious/precious metals… Limited only to the client's imagination. On top of this, these folders can be completely personalised to make each folder totally unique.

A beautiful folder might not be the main reason a client chooses one supplier over another - it might not even by a reason - but investing in premium and bespoke presentation highlights a supplier's dedication to quality and attention to detail - two highly prized attributes.

In the past year, we supported a client's campaign to win a Travelex tender and helped leading international design agency Sapient Nitro with the beautiful Michelin folder.

If the deal is worth winning, it's worth focusing on presentation, as well as content.

AVEQIA KRUG KITCHEN

Putting our interior design skills to the test, Berry Place delivered a dazzling display for AVEQIA London on behalf of Chic London.

Guided by professional chefs, guests at highly acclaimed restaurant AVEQIA learn to cook, dine and discover the pleasure of pairing fantastic dishes with Krug champagnes in the luxurious private cooking studio, made beautiful by Berry Place and Chic London.

Working to an ongoing brief, Berry Place was commissioned by Chic to create a 'suite' of premium fittings & objects for the Minotti-equipped Kitchen, including ornate lightning, a bespoke fireplace, gold-leafed picture frames and cushions and curtains, sourced from Designer's Guild and NYA NORDISKA fabrics. Several bespoke shelves were created and installed to match the magnificent one-of-a-kind table (equipped with sunken Krug ice-bucket) and surrounding décor to create an intimate, world-class setting for the finest dining experience in London.

Packaging Innovations London 2013

Berry Place will once again be exhibiting at Packaging Innovations London 2013, held at the Business Design Centre on the 1st-2nd October.

Now in its fourth year, Packaging Innovations is London's most exciting event for the packaging industry, providing excitement and inspiration about the latest innovations in the market, the upcoming trends and technological developments. Last year, 96% of visitors said the show was either worthwhile or very worthwhile and 91% identified new suppliers.

Berry Place will be situated on stand GB8 in the Brand & Design Village - an inspiring zone showcasing the most innovative approaches in design and branding. This year we'll be bringing a selection of new objects and ideas from a year of creative design in retail and packaging.

As always, we'd be delighted to  meet our friends, family and clients at the show, so please get in touch or register here if you would like tickets.

TAG Heuer: Celebrating 50 Years of Carrera

The iconic Carrera, the first sports chronograph designed specifically for professional drivers and sports-car enthusiasts, was inspired by the notoriously dangerous Carrera Panamericana Mexico Road Race - the world’s toughest open-road endurance competition.

To celebrate 50 years of Carrera, Berry Place created an outstanding double window display in Harrods, using approximately 400 watch components to create a full size Porsche 356, a 1953 Carrera Panamericana icon.

Immediately after the Harrods window installation, Berry Place headed over to Sussex to create a similar display for Goodwood Festival of Speed.

New Staff Changes (Richard/Anne)

Richard Thomas left Berry Place earlier this month, having joined as production manager in 2011. Richard was responsible for ensuring jobs were completed on time, on budget and to the high standards people have come to expect from Berry Place. We wish Richard luck on the next exciting step in his career.

In other news, the new mellow greeting on the phone is a result of Anne joining the Berry Place team as Office Manager. Anne’s role at Berry Place is to make sure things run smoothly by helping with inbound enquiries, liaison with couriers and day-to-day office support.

It’s been an exceptionally busy year with new and exciting changes for Berry Place (new clients, new studio, new staff) and Anne’s involvement is sure to help us stay focused on what we do best... 'making ideas take shape'
